On a side note, is it possible to set the units of a model from the API? I can edit an .osim file easily enough, but Id like to be able to do it from the API as I build the model in it. I could figure out hot to get the units but not view them or change them.
I modified the model constructor so that the model comes with some defined length units (meters). Depending on how we want the function to change the units to behave this could be easy or hard (e.g. do you expect muscle point locations and com and joint locations to be "scaled" when you change units? how about masses?) so I didn't want to tackle it now but I'm open if it's still an issue or if you're not using meters.
I think I would not expect anything to change in the model when units are changed, it should should be an identifier of what units you have created the model in already. |
