dear opensim-developers
for my master-thesis i'm investigating the alteration in joint reaction forces wearing an orthosis.
to get familiar with opensim i created a very simple model of an orthosis only acting on the elbow. everything works fine with IK and ID, all results are reasonable. but with static optimization i get large constraint violations all the time and the results are not useful in any way. i tried adding actuators to SO as well as making the muscles stronger, used different types of joints/constraints and remodeled my .osim-file many times without any success.
i send you my .osim-file of the model, the motion-file from IK, the setup file for SO and the residual-actuator file, packed in a .rar archive. i would be glad to hear from you soon.
