Please improve the orientation of the model using your mouse.

Detailed description
Rotating using hold the left mouse button is terrible.
Translate the view using click and hold the centre mouse button seems relatively slow/insensitive.
Please adopt a "reference coordinate" frame like feature from visual 3D
