On GTX 1080Ti, it appears that the utility cannot test more than 3GB or RAM at once.
However, it is possible to run it in three different CMD windows, in parallel, which results in different blocks of memory getting allocated and tested in parallel!
Hence, a script that launches four processes in parallel, would allow for testing all VRAM of a GPU.

PS. One more thing: While memtestCL resulted in no errors, on 4 tested GPUs, memtestG80 was giving me errors on all (same) GPUs. Not very consistent... |
