Version 4.0+ use a totally different and more recent visualization library that relies on hardware acceleration and webgl, if your machine doesn't support these then likely visualization will not work. There's a red stop-sign at the bottom left corner of your screen capture, if you click on it maybe you'll have more info to provide. Thank you
