When Ribbon representation is picked after loading a local PDB file, Tornado crashes

Detailed description
When the Ribbon representation is picked after loading a local PBD file, Tordado gives an error message and then crashes. This problem only happens with the Ribbon representation. The error given has something to do with vtk. But when the same structure is fetched directly from the web, there is no problem with the ribbon representation or any other representations, it works fine. I am attaching the one of the PDB files giving me the problem, 1GRZ.pbd, but these other two files, 1GRZ[1].pdb1 and 1PBR.pdb, downloaded from the PDB web site are also giving me the same error.
