Summary:
More control over static optimization objective function

Detailed description
Hi,

I think it would be practical have more flexabilty over the static optimization cost function (for both static optimization and CMC). Currently, static optimization gives you the option to change the activation exponent but that is all (and in CMC it is 2 by default I believe). It would be usful to have more control over this cost function by including other system states. Is this possible?

Regards,

Tim

We're going to overhaul "functions" in OpenSim 2.0. That should allow for much more flexibility in specifying objective functions for both Static-Optimization and CMC.

Will keep you posted.
