Hi Madhav,

If you are looking for an open source EMR system rather than data, I just read about two such open systems at the SSiH mailing list:

http://openmrs.org/
http://www.open-emr.org/

I have not checked these, I am unsure of details. However, someone was using this there for simulation. Although SSiH simulation is many times not computational, these tools may still be helpful for modelers.

thank you for those very useful links! I know it is only German

very detailed epidemiological data on infectious diseases. This
includes time and location as well as patient characteristics (age

Hi to all modelers working with public data,

Madhav was asking me yesterday about public sources
of medical data.

I offered two well known pointers:
NHANES
AHRQ

Does anyone have other public sources they know about
they wish to share with the group.

It may help several of us sharing such knowledge of
public repositories.
