Good news: our joint paper on Population Modelling by Examples has been accepted. Huge thanks to those who pitched in with the revisions and gave some great suggestions. I think the end result is fabulous, especially the table (which wasn't my idea but I adore!).<br>

One of the reviewers stated "Delighted to be able to make a minuscule contribution to this already fantastic paper." The other notes that "The revisions improve the paper substantially" and "The revised paper is a worthwhile addition to the literature". So well done team!<br>

Next step: the presentation. Since we only have 20 minutes and there are 16 of you, brevity is essential. Last year, each contributor added a single slide. I think that's a great way to approach it. (Our department recently did something similar for recruiting students to upper-year math courses and it worked really well.) So please use this template to create a single slide of your work (max 100 words, but visuals are better).<br>

Try to include only key elements of your work, preferably in graphical form. If you have more than 100 words in the slide, then it is too long. Better to have a few pictures and even animation if possible. Remember, my ability to present your slides is limited, so just stick to the very basics. Each slide will have about a minute to be presented.<br>
<br>
Please do not send any copyrighted/restricted material, since we want the slides to be under Creative Commons license so that other people in this working group and outside it can reuse the material for lectures or other academic activities. And if you must acknowledge funding, please send<br>
exact text in the same email outside the slide so I can assemble all of<br>
these together at the end of the presentation.<br>
