- ORS is coming fast for an actual meeting. A short time frame but we can touch base. All will meet at ORS and Thor and Ahmet will join through Skype.
- A year from now a full group meeting.
Meeting a year from now --> Thor in US early FEB, he may be able to fly in US.
- How to separate cross-contamination? How to connect students to meet the groups for international ...? Thor things it is a nice opportunity for students. Next one is in Denver. December time frame is not bad. December seems good. Thor is free after mid-October, mid-December.
- Visibility in conferences.
- Ahmet described what he plans to do (MSM, CPMS).
- Thor has a couple presentations in WCB that can slide in.
- There is ISB in Calgary may be there.
- ORS for submission proposals for workshops shortly after meeting / Clinical Knee Society
- ACL interest community Carl is going in New Zealand who can insert.
- A place from a year now what to do (special session) / presentation similar to grand knee challenge SB3C and scientific and clinical communities. SB3C no meeting this summer but coupled with WCB
- BMES/FDA conference for a presentation. No dates for 2018 yet. Call was in January conference in May.
- Kneehub vs TSR abstract.
- Implant at ORS there is a scientific program, plugin announcements from the leader one slide ko kick. Nico Vergenshact, Ken, Peter Laz can reach out to Nico and cc ahmet about inserting a slide for this project.
- Carl will keep an eye of workshop proposals for ORS
- Everyone inserts a slide in their presentations for visibility

- Thor ISB 2019 in Calgary special session etc, in Calgary
- ASB in 2018 Mayo.
- A scientific session for comparison of results and a breakout for investigators.
- Publications.
- The last item is the possible manuscripts. Offshoots that can happen organically
- Process focused knee review article, Jason can take lead, others can get involved
- First duty, is cross-section of knee modeling historical and more current knee models and determine the process based on what they publish. Use considerations for reporting fea to understand and summarize process. What is the take home (Thor)? Resource for the process, pull out important details and see in one place. JB, CMBBE, JOR paper like the grant knee challenge; describe the problem; solution is benchmark (and processes). Say some benchmarks. Opportunity to have a change of direction as a lead in this project.
- In some sense it is a specific aims page (Carl) How about just us (review of our grants)? Early outcome from the grant perspective. Cross-section to highlight the variability in the process Highlight reproducibility. JB - Farshid Editor's interest is important. JOR?
- Bruce Beynnon - JOR deputy of orthopaedic biomechanics. Thor - If journal is associated with conference that will be good. ORS is good. JBJS - Tom Brown is deputy editor May be the initial audience is engineering.
- Further engagement with the community.
- Success stories?? Scientific crowd first (people who use data first); clinical crowd later. Main outcomes of a meeting is to encourage people to get involved also regulatory.
- How can we involve community in intermediate projects?
- Outreach as in NSF (Pete), summer camp
- National biomechanics day (Thor) - Paul deVita does it through ISB
