- Continue working on software implementation for collection and utilization of orientation data.
- Tara
- Incorporate recording of system configuration, e.g., transformations, within the force data files of in vivo testing.
- Address concerns raised in mock up session related to data collection software.
Notes:
- Discuss immediate action items from past meetings.
- Ahmet, Tammy, and Tara had a mock up session to identify potential issues for in vivo testing protocols. Ahmet documented the concerns in the relevant specifications page. The team went over these point-by-point. These concerns were classified in relation to ultrasound system, general setup, data collection software, and probe - transducer assembly. Team members will address these concerns; Ahmet will work with Medical Device Solutions to update on probe - transducer assembly, Tammy will work on the ultrasound system settings and general setup, and Tara will update the data collection software.
- Ben reviewed the in vivo testing specifications again. He found the information adequate.
- Ben has been working with quadratic tetrahedral elements to evaluate their performance. He was able to solve a simple indentation problem of a prismatic block. He has started running simulations with the curved section.
- Tammy took more pictures in the mock up session to use for description of in vivo testing protocols. She may amend these with addition pictures later.
- Tammy ordered the surgical mat.
- Robb mentioned that the data file labeling should be described in the infrastructure pages related to in vivo testing. Ahmet asked him to check.
- Work on data collection software is pending. Mock up session indicated additional changes other than those noted previously. Ahmet clarified the his request for subject xml files as one file for each subject (not for all). He also clarified his desire to incorporate configuration information in data files.
- Readiness for in vivo testing.
- Pending work on data collection system are listed below:
- Tara will incorporate updates to data collection scheme; previously mentioned features (XML based subject files, embedding of configuration information in data files, plotting all force components) and those noted during the mock up session.
- Robb will continue integrating the orientation sensor to Tara's data collection software and implement calibration and gravity compensation strategies.
- Ahmet will work with Medical Device Solutions to enhance ultrasound probe - force transducer fixture and handle. He will need the diameter for the ultrasound cable to re-manufacture the cable holder. Tammy will measure it.
- Tammy will fine tune ultrasound settings and general setup, i.e. definition of activity levels.
- Additional mock up sessions are expected.
- Pending work on data collection system are listed below:
- Decide immediate action items for next meeting.
- See Immediate Action Items above.
- Other.
- Tara reminded Ahmet that he may want to contact an external engineer for instrumentation of surgical tools.
- An MRI session is scheduled for April 12, 2016 to evaluate in vitro imaging protocols.
