Immediate Action Items:
- Tammy
- Continue recruiting and testing for in vivo experimentation.
- Write first draft of an ASB abstract relevant to in vivo anthropometric measurements.
- Tyler
- Continue testing in vitro data collection and prepare for next mock.
- Conduct second mock in vitro test on the leg used in last week's trial test.
- Schedule mock in vitro testing of an arm.
- Create a figure on coordinate systems with Rici to support analysis of kinematics data.
- Update the wiki with the order of data collection on registration markers for in vitro testing.
- Ben
- Continue developing modeling specifications.
- Write first draft of an ASB abstract relevant to model generation and assembly.
- Rici
- Continue data analysis.
- Schedule meeting with Ahmet to discuss kinematics data analysis.
- Create a figure on coordinate systems with Tyler to support analysis of kinematics data.
- Ahmet
- Review ASB abstracts and provide feedback.
- Meet with Rici to discuss kinematics data analysis.
- Clone Ben's computer to test compiling haptics libraries and SofaHAPI.
- All
Continue testing beta version of the data management website at https://multisbeta.stanford.edu.
- Add subfolders to existing folders to simulate the workflow to check indexing.
- Mix different subject data to check error notification and indexing.
Notes:
- Discuss immediate action items from past meetings.
- All action items were related to the recurring agenda items; refer to discussions below.
- In vivo testing progress.
- Experimentation continued as anticipated.
- Readiness for in vitro testing.
- Tara reviewed the ultrasound probe coordinate system and verified its accuracy. She also updated the definition of probe forces. The group further elaborated on this definition and updated the wiki accordingly.
- Tara tested the load cell both with LINUS in vitro and LINUS in vivo to ensure consistency of measurements.
- Robb and Tara updated the wiki to describe how switching from right to left legs/arms may be done in the future.
- Tyler will conduct another mock ultrasound experiment on CMULTIS002 and schedule the first arm mock.
- Tyler updated LINUS software configuration to reflect correctly ordered spherical marker registration and ultrasound location sites. He will document this information in the wiki.
- Data analysis update.
- Data analysis for in vivo experimentation continued as usual.
- To support kinematics (Optotrak) data analysis, Rici, Tara, and Robb has been documenting the state and configuration files generated by the data collection system. Rici and Ahmet will meet to go over the kinematics data analysis workflow to expand upon this documentation.
Modeling & simulation specifications.
- For comprehensive evaluation of morphing scripts, Ben prefers to have a complete data set from the next leg mock. He will continue with artificial data for prototyping purposes.
- Ahmet developed a simple Blender script to cap the ends of two triangulates surfaces and have a boolean operation to cut the outer surface with the inner. This will help using surfaces representing skin, fat, muscle and bone boundaries to generate skin, fat, and muscle volumes. Ben will develop this further.
- Decide immediate action items for next meeting.
- See Immediate Action Items above.
- Other.
- Rici found a few issues while testing the data management system. She has notified the development team and provided requests for related features.
- ASB abstracts have been under development. Ahmet will review these as they become available.
