In the new FEBio, input and output syntax have changed significantly. Ahmet noted that Craig, who does the hands on conversion, will likely need help to move on. Ben, Steve, and Dave will provide support.
- Decide action items for next meeting.
- Action items are decided upon, see above.
- Other.
- The University of Utah team had a summer course on FEBio. It was well attended. Many new bugs in FEBio v2.0 were noticed. These will be handled by the development team.
Ahmet noted that if FEBio team hears about the use of Open Knee(s), it will be great if they can inform the group. Such knowledge is important to build a community. Open Knee(s) group will do the same for FEBio. Ben asked if the Open Knee(s) team acquires download statistics; this is available through the SimTk infrastructure.
- Ben described some of their segmentation/surface and volume mesh generation workflows. Ahmet noted that Meshlab and GNU Triangulated Surface library may be of help.
