Recurring Meeting of Cleveland Clinic Core Team
Date: August 5, 2014
Time: 10:30 AM EST
Means: In person meeting
Attendees:
- Craig Bennetts
- Snehal Chokhandre
- Robb Colbrunn
- Tara Bonner
Agenda:
- Discuss immediate action items from the last meeting.
- Discuss data acquired for oks004 so far.
- Decide immediate action items for the next meeting.
- Other.
Immediate action items:
- Robb
- Add readme files to Midas to describe joint mechanical testing data files (tdms and config files) for previously obtained data.
- Robb and Tara
- Do a quick comparison for tibiofemoral joint testing data for oks004 with previously obtained data (sanity check).
- Snehal
- Conduct cartilage mechanical testing (confined compression, unconfined compression, tensile) with Tara to familiarize her with the process.
- Craig
- Separate MRI files in Midas based on sequence.
- Snehal
- Upload script for renaming MRI files to repository.
- All
- Update oks004 wiki page to provide information on specimen-specific experimentation.
- Recommend changes in specifications based on oks004 testing experience in the oks004 wiki page.
Notes:
- Discuss immediate action items from the last meeting.
- oks004 related information will be updated by team members in the following weeks.
- Katie added the notes she had taken during oks004 testing to its testing page.
- Discuss data acquired for oks004 so far.
- Robb and Tara will take a quick look at the tibiofemoral joint testing data and compare it to previously obtained data in the lab. There is also relevant literature cited in a related manuscript in development, which can be of use for comparison with population.
- Craig and Snehal will check the MRI data to confirm the quality of image sets are as expected.
- Snehal has been conducting tissue mechanical testing and will update all the details on Wiki in the upcoming weeks.
- Erroneous jumps in tensile testing displacement data were noticed again. These were not present in the test data taken after the software was updated. These jumps do not seem to be related to how fast the shaft moves or the time taken for the test. The amplitude of these jumps however corresponds to the value used for strain rate. (For example, if 5 mm/s is used as strain rate, then the jumps are 5 mm). Note that these displacements are not actually applied by the machine. Snehal will contact Martin to discuss the issue.
- Snehal will work with Tara to train her to conduct tissue testing while Snehal is away for a week.
- Decide immediate action items for the next meeting.
- Action items were assigned to the team members and agreed upon. See Immediate Action Items above.
- Other.
- Robb worked on the conversion between "right knee abstraction" and "physical representation" for robotics joint testing data, including the kinematics offsets in the left to right knee conversion for kinematics description. Sanity check was performed by 3D plotting the data to make sure matrix results are as expected after conversion. The converted data files and all related information (including proof of correct conversion) for a previously collected left knee data are uploaded to Midas.
