* Open Knee(s) * Snehal completed the cartilage repeatability tests and preliminary analyses for oks003. The results were discussed. * For initial assessment Snehal plotted all repeatability data for stress-strain, load-unload before and after preconditioning and preconditioning. * All high strain moduli were calculated (both instantaneous and equlibrium). She also reported the percentage differences for all moduli and peak loads. * These analyses were done for all test sets (confined compression, unconfined compression and tension). * Unconfined compression and tensile tests have better repeatability than confined compression test sets. * Ahmet suggested reporting average moduli and coefficient of variation. * Snehal will conduct a thorough analysis in the upcoming weeks and start working on the manuscript for submission. * In the meantime, she will be submitting an abstract describing this study to the upcoming American Society of Biomechanics conference. * Snehal is also working on creating geometries from oks segmentations and will be updating all in the upcoming weeks. * Rici will be working on updating the python scripts to extract joint testing data from TDMS files to accommodate left knees. * Knee Hub * Snehal will update the data and tissue quality assessment document and upload it to the repository. * Ahmet will meet the collaborators and discuss / decide the specimens that will be used for the study. * Other * Ariel is learning the tools for segmentation, geometry generation and modeling. She is also going over the specifications in Open Knee(s) and editing/updating them as needed. As a new user, she is also serving as a test subject for how new users can navigate the detailed specifications. |
