default violation with static optimization
<t>I am trying to get the static optimization tool to work in the 2.0 version. However, I cannot get the "ControlLinear" to be -1 min/ +1 max. I have the control linear default of both the model and the static optimization setup to be -1 min/ +1 max. However, when the tool runs I get all of the actu...

RE: Max isometric force violation with Static Opt
<t>Ayman,<br/> <br/> Thank you for your response. I have reported the bug and have included my model and inputs. <br/> <br/> I was looking over my model and inputs trying to find where I might have added something that might have caused this problem. In my search the only thing that I could find was...

Max isometric force violation with Static Opt
<t>I am running static optimization on my model and I came across a problem. In the results, all of the muscle forces are just fine, except one. This one muscle has a max isometric force of 12.927. However, in the results, the force of this muscle peaks to about 30. All other muscle stay well below ...

Actuator Controls with Static Optimization
<t>I've been trying to run static optimization on my model. But I've run into the problem that I can't seem to control the actuator properly. I have both muscles and ideal actuator in my model. The muscles are being controled just fine with the defaults. However, I can't seen to get the ideal actuat...

CMC troubles
<t>I'm having problems with the CMC tool. I've got the RRA working fine. However, when I try to get the CMC tool to work I keep getting warnings saying that I've got small force ranges for all of my muscles. I have two versions of the model I'm trying to run, one that is as simplified as I can make ...

Performance Questions
<t>Hi,<br/> <br/> I had some basic questions about Opensim that relates directly to performance. Currently I'm getting my model running, and I was wondering about the computer limitations that I will have to work with. Along those lines there are three basic questions that I have. <br/> <br/> My fir...

RE: RRA failure
<t>Ayman,<br/> <br/> That is good to know about the "constraints file", I double checked that, and my constrainst file has the min and max being -1 and 1, respectively. So thankfully I shouldn't be having any problems from that. <br/> <br/> However, I some of my joints in my model are still progress...

RE: Locking MTP and Subtalar Joints
I might be completely off, but I thought it was because in the example there was no IK information about those joints. Therefore for ease of calculation, those joints were removed. At least that is the reasoning I'm using for my model, and it seems to be working.

RE: RRA failure
<t>Ayman,<br/> <br/> I finally figured out one of the major problems that my model had. My model has a number of segments in it where I don't know the mass. I couldn't just leave the mass and inertial parameters at 0, so I put them at .0000001. However, this mass is too small for the CMC algorithm t...

RE: RRA failure
<t>Ayman,<br/> <br/> Thank you for your help. I just saw your message today. I'm going to try what you have suggested. I do have some questions though.<br/> <br/> I can run inverse dynamics. Although, the inverse dynamics have what should be the residuals as being large numbers, around 2500. However...
