Re: model of skin
If you're looking to construct a purely tissue mechanics model, I'd probably recommend you have a look at FEBio, which is another open source software for biomechanics applications.

Re: Regional blood flow during radiation delivery
Hi David, There are a number of models available on the vascular model repository (www.vascularmodel.com) that might be useful for your project. You could use these to look at some typical simulation results. SV can give you flux at different regions. There are also possibilities to use reduced orde...

Re: Using SimVascular volume mesh in OpenFoam
Hi Denis, You would need to write a script to convert the mesh file generated in SimVascular to the format appropriate for SimVascular. We're happy to help or advise on this, but we're not part of the OpenFoam development efforts. Since other users may wish to have the same feature, I'd encourage yo...

Re: Model of vascular network within human hand
Yes, if you have high quality medical image data for the hand, you should be able to construct a model of the vasculature that you can see in the image data. After construction, you can rotate the model and look at it from different angles. You can also make detailed measurements in ParaView. Whethe...

Re: Follow up discussion for webinars
Thank you for your interest in the webinar. I've done my best to answer everyone's questions below. 1. Thank you for the positive feedback on the presentation. This is an excellent question. Given the high computational cost associated with running CFD simulations, it is often beneficial to use lowe...
