Hi Marco,
Can you post your ccmake configuration screenshot for both building 3.1 & building ExampleMain?
Thanks,
Kevin

Re: Timeout error on testWrapping - hardware dependent?
Hi Sebastian,
testWrapping should be passing in OpenSim 3.1. You can give it a shot making a clean build of the 3.1-WW beta source release (at the bottom of https://simtk.org/project/xml/downloads.xml?group_id=91) and see if the problem still exists.
Cheers,
Kevin

Hi Sebatian,
Thanks for the notice - I'm able to reproduce this problem on my own machine. We're looking into this at the moment.
Cheers,
Kevin

Re: Linux binaries - missing libraries...
Hi Tom, The ld issue is related to namespace of the libraries as we use them to differentiate on Windows. You can change that by changing the value of the NameSpace field in the CMake configuration from "OpenSim_" to blank. That should solve the linking problem. As for the Visualizer versioning ther...

Re: Opensim 3.0 from source - segfaults on some tests
Thanks for the info Sabastian. Did you build OpenSim source using the own lapack/blas libraries on your machine? In CMake when you build Simbody/OpenSim you would need to specify "lapack;blas" in the BUILD_USING_OTHER_LAPACK field. Let me know if that works for you.

Kevin

Re: Linux binaries - missing libraries...
Hi Tom, You can link to the library at compile time by setting the LIBRARY_PATH variable to where the OpenSim libraries are installed. Also the program would find Visualizer in where OpenSim is installed, so if you set the variable OPENSIM_HOME it should launch the Visualizer. I realized there's an ...

Re: Opensim 3.0 from source - segfaults on some tests
Hi Sebastian, When you run individual tests you would have to run them in the directory where files are. For example you would need to copy testWrapping executable into OpenSim/Tests/Wrapping in your build directory. If you can try that and let me know where the segfault occurs it'll be great. Just ...

Re: OpenSim crash during CMC
Hi, Günter, Attaching is the library file I suspect that's missing for your Linux . If you can unzip the attachment and add the file to the lib directory in your OpenSim binary and see if this solves the problem on Linux it'll be great. If you are looking to build OpenSim on Linux from source feel f...

Re: Symantec anti-virus quarantines OpenSim executable
Hi Katrina, You can change the setting of Symantec anti-virus to exclude certain folders when performing automatic scanning. This is a temporary solution however; we have filed a false positive report to Symantec about it. If you would like to file additional reports please go to https://submit.syma...
