Hi
1. If two rigid bodies need to come in contact, will using Hunt crossely force be a suitable method.
2.If so could you please post a sample code with values for parameters like dissipation constant,Stiffness constant and all the three frictions
Thank you

Elastic Foundation model
Hi I would like to know about Elastic foundation forces method to execute a grasp activity of a glass. 1.What type of mesh I should create for the object. 2.Should the mesh be created on the finger segments too ? . 3.For understanding, could you post a sample html code for elastic foundation model Th...

Re: Thumb muscles
Static optimization of a muscle before filter and after filter produces entirely different range of muscle forces.Probably after using the filter at 6 Hz,the results are sensible. What could be the possible reason. Thanks in advance

Inverse dynamics simulation would solve the purpose ?tkuchida wrote:How are you generating your simulation?

Thumb muscles
Hai I would like to see the effect of FPL by cutting off the APL muscle strength and vice versa. So if I cut off a muscle strength by zeroing the isometric force of the muscle, the particular movement (say flexion ) should not happen when i adjust the flexion coordinates or instead the joint should be...

Coefficient of restitution and Dissipation Constant
Hi
Are Coefficient of restitution and Dissipation Constant same?.It sounds same because in both cases energy is dissipated to the material in a certain velocity before it actually restores its position.Could you please clarify?
Thanks

Values of Dissipation Constant
Hi Suppose if we choose 3 different objects like ball, glass and key for simulation in wrist model, the dissipation constant for rigid objects like Key and Glass should be as less as 0.2 and ball should be near to 1 like 0.8 or 0.9.Are these values correct for choosing dissipation constant values.Coul...

Re: Inverse dynamics and Static optimization
Thank you sir.I will have a look.
But will the ID results be reliable at this case.Because if I correct the Constraint violations ,the ID results will remain same right ?

Inverse dynamics and Static optimization
Hi
Do the results of SO and ID depend on each other.I calculated joint moments of fingers for a grasp activity.Static Optimization has some Constraint violation. No Question is can I proceed with the ID results.
Thank you

Re: Contact Spheres on bone segments or muscles segments
Thank you sir.
I get joint moment and muscle moment results well but my static optimization undergoes some constraint violation. That doesnt affect joint moment and muscle moments results right ?
