running CMC from command line
I have noticed that CMC runs differently from the command line on 2 of my PCs. OpenSim both been installed on both PCs (both running windows 7 64bit) from the same file and I am using the exact same CMC setup files on each. One runs fine with no problems, but when I start the other running I get a w...

CMC small force range
I have noticed sometimes when CMC is running and there is a small force range for some muscles, occasionally the range is from a higher number to a lower number. The majority of times the range is usually from a lower number to a higher number. Just wondering if this is due to an incorrect parameter...

Bushing forces and CMC
I have found that if I try to run CMC on a model with bushing forces in the model file it fails very early in the simulation. If I remove the bushing forces from the model and put the very same forces in the reserve actuator file for the CMC setup it works ok. Is there a reason for this? And is ther...

Including EMG data in a CMC simulation
I have some EMG data that I want to include in a CMC simulation. The idea is that CMC will calculate the muscle activations for the muscles that I do not have EMG data for. The CMC simulation runs fine without the EMG data. I am including the EMG data in the control constraints for the relevant musc...

Ground reaction force data
I am currently trying to scale and run the gait2354 model from data obtained using a CODA mpx30 system. The marker scaling and inverse kinematics is working fine, but I'm having trouble with the ground reaction force data. I am able to output ground reaction forces (XYZ) from left and right force pl...

error using API examples
<t>I am trying to work through the developers guide for OpenSim 2.2.1. I have compiled and built the tugofwar_complete example, but when I try to run the executable I get the message "tugofwar_complete.exe has stopped working" and the window closes. The testOpenSimAPI executable works ok when I run ...

Joint displacement limit
<t>I am wondering when executing CMC and RRA is it possible to allow a joint to move a certain distance beyond that which has been defined in the desired trajectory. <br/> <br/> Here's a simple example: An elbow bending motion is defined in the desired kinematics, but I don't mind if the angle of th...

Running forward dynamics from command line
I have been running CMC simulations from the command line and would like to do the same for forward dynamics, but there doesn't seem to be a way to include plugins like there is for CMC (-L 'plugin name'). Is this possible for forward simulations?
