Re: Questions on OpenCap-Vicon Comparison and OpenCap Core Models/Markerset Usage
Hi Xinlei, 1-2) These don't affect your data. Once you load the motion the model is in the correct position. 3) If the person is further away from the cameras they are smaller, so it makes it hard for the pose detection to see key points. I would recommend changing your capture volume so the person ...

Re: Is Gravity Modification in OpenSim 4.5 from OpenCap Data Not Affecting Simulation Results?
Hi Yonas,
Is it the kinematic plots that aren't changing? What do your muscle activation plots look like? The simulations that are setup in example_kinetics are tracking simulations that are trying to solve for the inputs that would reproduce your input kinematics.

Re: different calibration options
Hi Laura,
Thanks for the added information.
You previous question was about if the data that you had is lost before reprocessing, and just wanted to confirm that data before reprocess was collected in the web application? And if yes, was the calibration done with a flat checkerboard?
Matt

Re: Reprocessing
Hi Micah,
You can try re-processing with more or fewer cameras to see if that helps with the codes in opencap-core.
If you try and rerun the pipeline as is without changing anything you'll get the same results.
Hope this helps,
Matt

Hi David,
How do you want to define hip drop? For example, if its relative motion of the pelvis to the spine, lumbar bending is what you want to look at.
Hope this helps,
Matt

Re: Example_Kinetics Not Outputting Folder
Hi Shelby, Unless you change this line to be something different, when you run a simulation on the same trial, it will overwrite your previous solution in the Dynamics folder. You can confirm if you look into that trial folder and see if the date modified matches when you ran the new simulations. Ho...

Hi Mario,
If they are turning red there is an error in processing. If you click the red trial in the web app, a banner will appear along the bottom telling you why it is failing.
Hope this helps,
Matt

Hi Antonio,
It's a 1 DOF knee. If you are interested in learning more about how IK is calculated in OpenSim, there is more documentation here: https://opensimconfluence.atlassian.net ... Kinematics
Hope this helps,

Re: different calibration options
Hi Laura, Sorry just to ask a few clarification questions: 1. How many cameras were involved in the original data collection in the web app and what orientation was the checkerboard? 2. When you are trying to reprocess with a flat checkerboard, are you increasing the number of cameras that are invol...

Hi Marios,
If you are capturing more dynamic motions, it never hurts to have higher frame rates and resolution. I will say that for some reason we've had trouble with the iPhone 11s. viewtopicPhpbb.php?f=2385&t=19090&p=52025&start=0&view=
