Re: OpenSense - Delsys IMUs
Wonderful. Thanks Ayman. I think we can get this right and should be able to share some resources for others.

Re: OpenSense - Delsys IMUs
Thanks Ayman for the prompt response. I adapted some codes to generate quat orientations from IMU data collected from Delsys (acc, mag and gyro). I managed to place the sensors in the model and ran the IK-IMU. However, the motion was unrealistic and wanted to check the following: 1- Does the orienta...

OpenSense - Delsys IMUs
Hi,
I am working on a project to use the Delsys IMUs to drive IK in OpenSense and wanted to check if questions are being taken for this topic. The OpenSense stand-alone forum seems to be locked so I thought I would check first.
Thanks,
Rodrigo

Hi Victor,
Apologies for the horrible delay in responding. Somehow, I have not received a notification of your message. Happy to speak via email (bini.rodrigo@gmail.com) if you still need assistance.

Re: Opensense - quaternion sto-file information
Hi, I am probably on a similar boat. I can get the Orientation data from our IMUs into Matlab but I have not managed to get the API to work in the computers that I have access to. I am struggling to generate the .sto file with the expectation that this file should have a mix of comma and tab separat...

Re: MatLab example
Hi,
I was checking the code and 'XsensDataReader.m' seems to be missing in the list of example files.
Regards,
Rodrigo

Re: Full-body Musculoskeletal Model of the Lumbar Spine Public Forum
Dear Margareth, we are using your model in a study involving delivery tasks and the SO processing of a file with ~20s is taking 10-12hrs. I was wondering if you would have any advice on ways that we could reduce this time. I am aware that this is potentially due to the large number of muscles that t...

Re: Inverse kinematics results
Hi James, thanks for your response. However, I could not understand that. If you land on your toes, the external forces lead your ankle to dorsi-flexion and the muscle response should be plantar-flexion, in terms of movement and moments. However, when we plot the output from Inverse Dynamics, we are...

Re: Inverse kinematics results
Hi, just wanted to check if the output from inverse dynamics are internal or external moments. My question is because, during drop landing tasks, we are observing ankle dorsi flexion torque (external torque) with the appropriate muscle predicted forces via Static Optimisation (i.e. gastrocs, soleus,...

Re: Xsens (c3d) to OpenSim
Hi Bruno,
I managed to adapt some Matlab codes that allows XSens users to export the coordinates from the C3D files into TRC files that OpenSim would accept.
Happy to share these codes with you (bini.rodrigo@gmail.com.).
Regards,
Rodrigo
