Re: Unable to load images into Simvascular

Hi David,

I don't think the fix described there is an option because our data were acquired as volumetric, not multislice data. Is there any other solution that's been come across for this?

Unable to load images into Simvascular

Hi everyone, I've been attempting to load some DICOM images into a new project, but I keep getting the following error: Invalid tag values when constructing tilt information from origin1 '', origin2 '', and orientation '' 379.45 ERROR: Image adding failed! Does anyone have any advice on how to decip...

Calculating resistance boundary conditions from PC-MRI data

Hi all, Is there a strategy for deriving the resistance outlet boundary condition in a patient-specific case given only PC-MRI data? From what I see in the clinical and user guides, it seems that you need to have some sort of approximate pressure value, or the resistance is just given, but from the ...

Changing the inflow velocity in a steady flow simulation

Hi, I've noticed that when changing the velocity of a steady flow simulation, the simulation results exhibit some unexpected behavior. For example, using a certain velocity results in steady results, but using a velocity of 1.5 times the original or two-thirds of the original results causes the flow...

Steady case in user guide

I noticed in the user guide for the demo project during the visualization of simulation results, you stated, "Since it is a steady case, only the last time step is needed." However, looking through the results of all the timesteps of that simulation, it would seem that the pressure and flow profiles...

Re: Fitting an implant in the vessels

Hi David, does scaling the image when adding the image to the project affect these coordinates? If it does, is there a way to recheck the scaling and accommodate for this? The radius for the cylinder that I'm entering seems much larger than it should be if it were in mm; also, in your example image,...

Re: Fitting an implant in the vessels

Hi David, it seems to work without a hitch! Thank you so much for your help, I really appreciate it. One last question: Is there a way to make sense of the units of the cylinder? I assume that right now, the radius is defined with respect to the coordinates of the control points. Is there any way to...

Re: Fitting an implant in the vessels

Hi David,

When I try to click on the .txt file to download it, I get redirected to a page that says "The selected attachment does not exist anymore." Do you think you could reupload it?
