Re: Coronary Artery Stenosis Case

Hi, I was wondering if any of the images from the vascular model repository are scaled differently from what the SimVascular image navigator suggests the units are. For example, with OSMSC0158, the model cross sections (in the healthy regions) have a perimeter of about 0.6 ____, where the navigator ...

Calculating Resistance in LCX

Hello, In the User guide, it states, "We assume that 4% of the cardiac output will go to the coronaries. In other words, the total coronary resistance is 24x that of the systemic vascular resistance that we computed above." Could someone please explain how one arrives at that conclusion? Also, is it...

Plotting Data on a Curve

Hello All, I would like to produce a plot of vorticity in a vessel using ParaView. I wasn't able to find a filter that allowed me to define an arbitrary curve that ParaView would plot over (I see the option to plot over a line and the intersection of curves). Is there something that I am missing, or...

Quantitative Segmentation

Hello,
I was wondering if there is a way to quantify the dimensions of a 2D segmentation. Specifically, I would like to be able to control the size of a circular segmentation by setting a numerical value for the radius. Could someone please guide me?

Thank you,
AP

Re: Coronary Artery Stenosis Case

I have another related doubt. In the vascular model repository, do the titles in the sample descriptions accurately correspond with the model it is linked with? If so, there are several coronary artery models that are titled "Coronary Artery Bypass graft Disease". Does this mean that the imaging wil...

Coronary Artery Stenosis Case

Hello,
I have been looking for a dataset of patients with stenosis in the coronary arteries to model. Is there data for this case in the simvascular repository? If not, could someone please point me to a databank that would contain what I need?

Thank You.
