Dear Mohammadreza Rezaie,
Thanks
Prof. Bogert's response was convincing. What if I include knee ligaments in the Rajagopal model?
Example : https://simtk.org/projects/kneemodel/
Kind Regards,
Rohan

degree of freedom at knee joint
I aimed to enhance the degree of freedom in the knee joint of Rajagopal Model, which currently has only one degree of freedom.
If I were to modify your model to increase the degree of freedom, would that be acceptable, or would it be considered inappropriate without ligaments?

Re: one force plate and two legs model
Hello , Mohammadreza Rezaie
Yes its for walking.
I'm attempting to estimate joint reaction load but getting an unexpected estimate of knee joint load.
I suppose a one-leg model is required. Please help.

one force plate and two legs model
We only have one force plate and motion capture data for the lower extremity. Will static optimization (SO) work if I only apply force to one leg?

External Torque/ Moment Application
If I apply external moment at femur , what will be the point of application?
can I change point of application as per my choice?

CMC activations not smooth
I have performed SO and CMC after RRA.
Activations of CMC are not smooth but activations of SO are smooth.
I have filtered kinematics and GRF also.
What is reason?

Ground reaction Force & kinematics Filtering
1) Is it required to filter GRF always ? if yes are there any tools?
2) What should be frequency for kinematics filtering in OpenSim for squatting? Filtering frequency depends on what?
Thank You,
Rohan K.

Re: Squat motion knee contact force validation.
Thanks for response,
I have gone through literature it seem no model predicts squat motion
Take this example
https://scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=e ... _f_yv8l9sJ
Any help is highly appreciated.
