IK & Scale tool, custom marker set
Hello everyone How can one define a custom marker set for a model (eg. Gait 2392) ? For example in case of a .trc available with a different marker placement convention or in case of increasing number of markers to capture a segment motion more precisely. Thanks. FYI, I have read Scale & IK Document...

Re: How can I produce .mot without having .trc ?
Hi Ayman Thanks for the reply Yah, I'm seeking for a way to calculate muscle forces with OpenSim while the subjects .trc file is not available? Is there a way to use someone .trc to obtain someone else's .mot file? muscle states, to get these you have to run a forward simulation Could you tell me mo...

Re: Muscle forces calculation
Yes I mean femur finite element model. I have my patient-specific OpenSim model. I'm curious to know that if I get Scone to work with this patient-specific osim model would it estimate my patient's muscle forces correctly? if yes, how can I validate it? In this manner I would have muscle forces with...

Re: Muscle forces calculation
You need a task description and a neuromuscular controller that produces muscle excitation patterns. Thanks for the response My target is to implement muscle forces on my femur FE model to do stress analysis and get other results. 1) I wanna know that if I recruit the proper task description and ne...

Re: How can I produce .mot without having .trc ?
Could you explain more please?
I'm trying to solve femur finite element model considering muscle forces .
.mot is one of my problems to do a valid, accurate simulation.

Muscle forces calculation
Hi dear developers I just watched your webinar on the great software I may not be able to bring my subjects to a MOCAP lab and don't have any IMU equipments too, so it occurred to me to get help from the SCONE to calculate muscle forces for simple daily activities of my subjects so my question is th...

How can I produce .mot without having .trc ?
Hey everyone
In case of not having access to MOCAP equipments and/or IMU equipments
1) is there any other way to have .mot file?
2) Is it possible to use someone else's .trc file and scale it to someone else's anthropometric dimensions and use it to make .mot file?
Best regards.

Can scale factors be calculated using anthropometric measurements?
Hello everybody In case of scaling femur and/or whole lower limb, is it possible to find scale factors in x y z direction using just anthropometric data (no MOCAP data available)? If yes, how much are these scale factors are reliable? and how can I do so? Any links and articles would be appreciated....
