Re: Simulation using a Stent
Is it then possible to simulate within svFSI three or more components, such as a plaque within the vessel wall (or a stent), in addition to the fluid and the wall itself? I have created a preliminary mesh with three components (fluid+wall+plaque) and an input file. But before further assessments I w...

Re: HGO material parameters
Ok, so there are only the abovementioned ones thanks
One last little question:
How are the "Def_Grad" array components saved? ( in struct simulations results for example)
Just to make sure the corresponding components are linked to the right array positions
(see figure)
Thank you!

Re: HGO material parameters
Thank you really much! :) Another thing: is there a way in svFSI to set (some or all) the solver parameters available in svsolver (see figure)? For example Residual criteria, residual control, step construction, ... as far as I know, the available settings are: Add equation: FSI { Coupled: ... Min i...

Re: Automating Batch Simulations
Is there a way to "gently" interrupt a rigid wall simulation launched from terminal (svSolver)? as the command "touch n-proc/STOP_SIM" for svFSI does. Because sometimes my simulation get stuck due to failed connection between processors I think (see figure) and I usually press "Ctrl+C" to end the pr...

HGO material parameters
Hello everyone, i wanted to have a feedback on HGO (decoupled) material parameter settings: As I set: HGO-{ a4: / b4: / a6: / b6: kappa: (k=0) } Is the parameter mu appearing in the formulation (see figure) derived from "Elasticity modulus" (E) and "Poisson ratio" keywords so that mu=E/(2*(1+poisson...

Re: FSI - two Boundary Layers
Thank you David! Sorry for the delay, Exactly, that's why i was triying to import the mesh as a new model! As suggested here (https://simvascular.github.io/docssvFSI.html#app_fluid_mesh) if you import the ".vtp" file extracted from the solid mesh and use it to generate the new volume mesh (of the fl...

FSI - two Boundary Layers
Hi everyone, I'm wondering if it's possible to mesh the fluid domain in an FSI mesh with a boundary layer, after creating the solid wall (using Boundary layer as an extrusion method in the first place) - see "img1.png" I'll explain myself better: 1) create the solid mesh by extruding outward the sur...

Re: svFSI error, Failed to project faces
Vijay Vedula, thank you so much for the clarification! I will pay more attention to the convergence parameters from now on. I would like to ask you one last thing: is there a way to simply separate the fluid from the solid domain (and vice-versa) in Paraview? I saw your tutorial (https://www.youtube...

Re: svFSI error, Failed to project faces
Sorry everyone, i was in a bit of a rush yesterday, and didn't write in english! :? I simply asked if the red text lines and exclamation marks "!" on the terminal interface stood for some underlying errors or warnings; and asked for some clues about imposing solid mesh motion as a boundary condition...
