Re: running SV on virtual machine

thank you for your response I found the wiki post which points to the disability of windows 10 graphics driver to support opengl3.3 which is required to launch SV but I do not completely grasp what it communicates. I'm wondering whether it is impossible to launch SV in windows10 guest VM or I should...

Re: running SV on virtual machine

thanks for your answer.
VM OS properties are attached . I connect to VM via "remote desktop connection" in windows10
if further information would be required, please let me know
best regards,

running SV on virtual machine

Hello SV developers. I'm starting implementing Sv on a virtual machine using remote desktop connection in windows 10 After setting up, the program immediately crashes with message in command: detected recursive attempt by part.org.sv.views to create itself. What extra information should I provide yo...

Re: BCs assigned to side branches

thanks for your helpful answer.
yes, you point to Murray's law. doesn't it make problems that the outlet BC type executed ( RCR and resistance) aren't identical?

BCs assigned to side branches

hello SV team . thanks for developing such powerful platform. I have a model constructed from CT image, the model has few branches ,along with main arteries. we know from papers that minor branches hardly affect hemodynamic status even if they are included in model. my question concerns values which...

imposing pressure wave as inlet using GenBC

Hi SimVascular team, I am intending to run a simulation featuring pressure BC as inlet using GenBC. there is tutorial on this on website but compared to setting RCR BC,imposing pressure wave BC as inlet is not completely elaborated. it is mentioned that svpre should be modified with neuman pressure ...

Re: wrong velocity directions

Hi David, actually I was using wrong procedure in ParaView to get the velocity field vector. the simulation was performed correctly.
I attach the picture corresponding to the velocity vectors by using the correct procedure in paraview.
thanks for your reply

velocity vector direction in paraview

Dear SV Team as it can be seen from the attached file , there are problems in terms of the direction of the velocity vector .velocity vector cross the wall and direction particularly in inlet is wrong and there is opposite velocity vector in some other portions. my geometry is constructed in Solidwo...

multiple inlets in 1D simulation

hello and thanks for your brilliant work and software.
i have a question although i am quite sure that there is no way providing me with solution.
SV seems not to be able to conduct 1D simulation with more than one inlet(circle of willis). is it correct??
would look forward to answer . thanks SV team

I am trying to import the path lines obtained from simvascular into solidwork
But solidwork doesnt read .paths format
Could anyone help please?
