Re: Loads

For example for the back load, we only get one variable. The x, y, and z components aren't avilable

Loads

For the loads in SCONE, are they compressive loads or are the forces in all three directions compounded into one?
If they are compounded, is there a way to resolve them into Fx, Fy, and Fz?

Parameter meanings

Hi! When we run a simulation, the messages window gives us some results. WARNING: Thelen2003Muscle::computeInitialFiberEquilibrium(SimTK::State& s)

Hi! I am trying to simulate the LLSM in OpenSim (https://simtk.org/projects/llsm/) and I get the following error for multiple muscles: WARNING: No suitable initial conditions found for ADD_LONG_5_R: by WARNING: Thelen2003Muscle::computeInitialFiberEquilibrium(SimTK::State& s) Continuing with an init...

Re: Integrator Error in Scone

Thank you. Is there a source I can refer to get more information about the additional requirements needed for a predictive model? The LLSM is made for predictive FEM modelling so I am hoping I can make it work in SCONE. Also, when I try to load the LLSM model, it clamps all muscle fibers to 0. I get...

Re: Integrator Error in Scone

The model doesn't come with sample kinematic files so I haven't tried. Is there any way to overcome this error? Also, when I try to load another model, the full-body lumbar spine ( https://simtk.org/projects/fullbodylumbar ), SCONE is unable to read some of the vtp files. I have simulated this model...

Loads are normalized by body weight (i.e. divided by mass * g).
Thanks!

Re: results-deficits-weakness

I have a similar question
If muscle forces are normalized by Max isometric forces, are the loads also normalized? Because I'm getting a back load of around 0.5 +- 0.2 for a normal gait cycle. I'm a bit confused as to what the unit is on the y axis.
