Re: Deformable wall simulation
Hi Dave, thank you for your suggestion and sorry for the delay in my reply. I increased the complexity of the simulation step by step and before adding the deformable walls everything seemed to work fine. I am simulating the fluid dynamic of an aneurismatic aorta. Maybe I am making some mistakes wit...

Re: Deformable wall simulation
Hi Dave, thank you for your reply. I checked the units of measurement of the boundary conditions and they should be correct, in the deformable wall simulation I use the same boudary conditions as in the the rigid wall case, where the results have the right order of magnitude. Is there anything else ...

Deformable wall simulation
Hi everyone. I am having some issues with the results of my simulation of an aneurismatic aortic arch with deformable wall properties. As suggested from the guide, I ran a rigid wall simulation to impose the initial condition of the deformable wall simulation. At first my simulation did not converge...

Re: Assign different properties to the same wall
Hi Dave, Thank you for your reply. I'd like to set the properties for svSolver and in particular I'd like to set different wall properties (density, wall thickness, E, Poisson ration) to two different regions of the same wall, so I will follow your advice and I will write a program to create a wall ...

Assign different properties to the same wall
Hi everyone,
I need to set different properties to the same wall of my model. Is there a way to do it using SimVascular?
Thank you for your reply,
Valentina

Re: Issues with flow calculation and with running two simulations at cluster at the same time
Thank you for your replay! With my velocities the flow should always be entering the model and should show two peaks, the first one higher than the second one, while from my results the flow exits the model in the first 0.5s -the total simulation time is 0.94s-, then it reaches the first peak at the...

Issues with flow calculation and with running two simulations at cluster at the same time
Hello everyone, I am having some problems with my SimVascular simulation. At the inlet I am imposing patient specific boundary conditions using a customized BCT file. In my model only one inlet is present and here I am imposing customized velocities through the BCT file. This one seems to be read in...

Information about bct.dat file for customized inlet boundary condition
Hello, I am working on cardiovascular simulations. I would like to set a customized inlet boundary condition, with an inlet patient-specific velocity profile, not Parabolic, Plug or Womersley. I have a few questions: 1) Is it possible to do it using SimVascular? 2) To this aim, I replaced the bct.da...
