RE: Problem inverse kinematics

<t>Hi Edith,<br/> <br/> <br/> The data is use are not treadmill data. I think indeed it I have to change the degrees of freedom between the pelvis and the ground but I can't figure it out how to do this. Maybe this is also a problem for my other thread (the scaling problem)? If you want I can send y...

RE: Scaled Model Orientation

<t>Hi Ayman,<br/> <br/> <br/> When I overlay the model markers with the experimental markers, it looks alright. The markers don't overlap quite right because of the position of the foot during the experiment itself, the foot is pointed outwards in contrast to the model foot which is pointed along th...

RE: Scaled Model Orientation

<t>Hi,<br/> <br/> <br/> It's going all wrong again. The experimental markers and virtual markers now overlap, sort of (al little difference because the foot is at an angle and not pointed along the x-axis). But the virtual marker located at the foot float around the shin after scaling. And again the...

Scaling Problem

<t>Hi,<br/> <br/> <br/> I have a bit of a problem with scaling the lower limb. I edited the lower limb model such that it has a 7 segmented foot. However when I want to scale it with my marker setting and lab data something goes wrong. The virtual markers are not on the same places any more (e.g. th...

RE: Questions regarding OpenSim Scaling. Markers

<t>Hi Moonki,<br/> <br/> <br/> Thanks for your reply. <br/> I don't think I've to scale the geometry files because I edited the .vtp files of OpenSim and I think they are already scaled. My problem is that in my OpenSim model the model looks all right. But the geometric origins of each segment are n...

RE: Questions regarding OpenSim Scaling. Markers

<t>Hi Ayman,<br/> <br/> Thank you very much for your reply.<br/> The problem is that the model is correct visual wise. But when I change the location in parent to the coordinates the segment should be the visual segment is shifted because, I think, the segment is virtually bigger than you can see an...

RE: Foot model

<t>Hi,<br/> <br/> <br/> I made a 7 segmented foot with joints and it works. However when I want to scale it something weird happens. The lower leg looks a bit crippled and the virtual markers are not on the same places they should be. I think it has something to do with the geometric origins of the ...

RE: Questions regarding OpenSim Scaling. Markers

Hi,

I've a question about point 2. Is there an easy way to modify the geometric origin of the segments? Like editing the .osim file or do you have to edit the .vtp files?

Cheers,

Jan-Jurre

Problem inverse kinematics

<t>Hi,<br/> <br/> <br/> I've been using the lower limb model to analyse human gait and it is really useful, thank you very much!<br/> <br/> However, I've encountered a problem when I use the inverse kinematics. After IK the segments of the foot, ankle and knee move a little bit but the pelvis still ...
