Re: RRA model sinks into ground
Hi Mohammadreza, I must have overlooked that. It helped! Thank you!! In terms of metabolic cost. I get about 500 Joules as a result from the "integrate" operation for the Umberger metabolic probe (CMC results). If I divide the value by duration (0.7 seconds) and weight (63 kg), I get about 11 W/kg. ...

Re: RRA model sinks into ground
I did resolve this issue after posting the thread. The original problem is still there. Thank you though!

RRA model sinks into ground
Hello, I'm using Opensim 4.5 to run RRA and CMC on a walking trial. The model sinks into the ground as if GRF data don't exist. I'm attaching the GRF, IK, and model files. I use the default actuators, constraints, and tasks files from gait2354 model. Could you help resolve the issue? I tried the rec...

RRA/CMC tool fails
Hello, I have been struggling to get the RRA/CMC steps to work (OpenSim 4.5). I'm attaching all input files for reference. I have not changed the default xml files (tasks, actuators, and constraints) that are available within the installed OpenSim gait2354 folder. The CMC tool works without the exte...

Re: Defining a new marker set
Now I have another issue- my model bends 90 degrees forward (attached). I tried to flip the coordinate system but still getting the same results in IK tool. What could be the issue?

Re: Defining a new marker set
Hi Daniel, I did go through this tutorial before I started experimenting with my own dataset. I'm assuming that renaming the markers would solve my problem. I'm just not sure how to match my marker locations and naming to the gait model provided. I'm hoping it is a simple fix :) Thanks for the help!...

Defining a new marker set
Hello, I'm working on a class project, and this is my first time using OpenSim. I would like some guidance on how to use OpenSim to run inverse dynamics on Vicon data. I'm planning to use gait model 2354, but with the locations of our marker set and eventually obtain plots of joint moments for diffe...
