Re: Regarding uploading DICOM images in SimVascular
Hello David, Thanks for your reply. I am not very clear with the term, "multiple imaging studies". Can you please elaborate a bit on this part? Are you trying to ask, in context of images taken at diastole or systole time point? Further, can't the number of images be related to the spatial resolutio...

Regarding uploading DICOM images in SimVascular
Hello! I am having dataset for coronary CT scan images (in the form of DICOM images) and I am trying to upload them in SimVascular, so that I can further construct a 3D model out of it. The spatial resolution is high and thus are almost 3000 images in one dataset. When I am trying to upload all the ...

Regarding basics of CT scan
Hi!
This query is not directly related to SimVascular but it is related to basics of CT scan. Can someone please tell, how are the number of slices decided in axial, sagittal and coronal views? Or if possible provide me with some source, where I can read about the same.
Thank you in advance!

Regarding calculation of geometric indices
Hello!
Can anyone please tell whether SimVascular facilitates the calculation of geometrical parameters such as curvature, torsion and tortuosity from the 3D constructed model?
Thanks!
Regards,
Mudrika

Re: Free edges
Hi David!
Yes, I was creating the model in SV modelling tool only. Okay, I will try to see if something is missing and then I will upload the project if I am not able to figure it out.
Thank you!
Regards,
Mudrika

Free edges
Hello!
I have been trying to create a model of the aorta and coronary arteries from CT scan images. While creating the model, it is showing me that: Number of bad edges = 681 and the number of free edges = 2.
What should I do to create the model successfully?
Thank you in advance!

Mudrika

Reconstruction of 3D model from angiographic data
Hi!
I have a query that whether we can reconstruct 3D model from angiographic data in SimVascular or not?
Thanks!
