Re: RRA with weld constraint

Thank you Ajay for your response. I thought that locking the joints would not be a problem, since I could run the motion with the joints that were free. But know I unlocked the hip joints in the other direction and RRA is running.

RRA with weld constraint

Hello, I have a problem with RRA. I have a cycling model with weldconstraints between the pedals and the feet. When I try to run RRA, the execution fails before it does any time step. In the output (see below) I cannot find the reason why RRA doesnot want to run. I tried to run RRA without the weldc...

Re: Problems with inverse dynamics

Thank you Ayman,

It turned out that the pedals indeed had no weight. Inverse dynamics is now running. I will have a look into the constraints. Thank you for the suggestion.

Problems with inverse dynamics

I developed a model for cycling, where I have muscles between the foot and the pedal to get a closed loop. My model includes 3D motion in the knee. So far, I have no problems with scaling and IK. But for some reason, the ID is not running and Opensim doesn't explain what the problem is. I get the ne...

Restricting musculotendon actuators

Hello,

During CMC, I want to restrict the musculotendon actuators of the same muscle (e.g. three actuators of the gluteus maximus) in such a way that the three will have the same excitations. Is this possible in OpenSim? If so, how would I pursue that?

Thank you,
Renate
