model mechanics
<t>Hi all,<br/> <br/> Quick question about the model Arm26, <br/> <br/> Does OpenSim take into account the gravity, in a way that would permit the arm to "fall" during an extension? (by "fall" I mean, that extensions are nearly effortless compared to flexions, therefore, triceps activations should b...

Arm26 : static optimization failure
<r>Hello,<br/> <br/> I'm trying to run the static optimization using arm26.<br/> <br/> I modified the limits of flexion (from [0..130] to [0..170]) by editing the .osim file.<br/> But I noticed that when the flexion angle of the elbow gets over 145°, the static optimization tool fails either we're u...

RE: Biomechanical model
<t>Hi Ayman,<br/> <br/> I used the model you specified above.<br/> <br/> We faced a problem with the inverse dynamics tool that we resolved by modifying the mass and inertial values of the bodies.<br/> Then, when we tried to use the static optimization tool, the optimization failed, with the followi...

Biomechanical model
<t>Hello,<br/> <br/> I would like to compare OpenSim results (muscle activation) to phisiological results (measured activations). <br/> <br/> I'm using Arm26.osim and I had some results that seemed a bit weird: some muscles activations where too high (~0.8) for a long time, while the movement was so...

RE: Virtual markers data
Ok, thank you Anders.
I tried your first suggestion, it worked.
I'm trying to use the other tool now because it seems quite interesting.

Virtual markers data
<t>Hello,<br/> <br/> I want to compare the trajectories of the experimental markers and the virtual ones, But I don't find the virtual markers data (the data saved in the motion file after doing the inverse kinematiks task does contain the experimental markers data).<br/> Can anyone please tell me w...

RE: Coordinate bounds modification
Hi Ayman,
Thank you, it worked after I edited the .osim file(unclamping doesn't work, it was unlamped from the beginning).

RE: Starting OpenSim Developers' Guide
<t>I got the same error when I started working on the developers guide, I replaced "RegSvr32" with the generated binary and it was fine then.<br/> <br/> Did you try to run the binairies generated by the code in the build folder you specified (to make sure that there's something wrong with the binari...
