Model separating during scaling

Hello all, I am scaling a model and am working on trying to understand what I can do to fix it. When the model is scaled, the new model created has the issue of separating in the lumbar. Screenshot (77).png Even when I reload the scaled model, I face the same issue. Screenshot (78).png You can see t...

Loading inverse kinematics error

Hello all, I have a question regarding inverse kinematics that I never really thought about until now. I'll share some details before asking just so you understand what I mean. So, I ran the inverse kinematics tool and got results. Then, using those results I was able to perform inverse dynamics. No...

Re: External Forces transform during RRA

But when I look at the transformed files, the grf data is completely different than what I am using.

External Forces transform during RRA

Hello, I was wondering if someone could help explain this to me and why it is happening. I haven't found a post yet describing this. ExternalForce::ground_force Data source being set to Sub05_Trial06_VR_Box01_grf - Copy.mot ExternalForce::1_ground_force Data source being set to Sub05_Trial06_VR_Box0...

Re: Inverse Dynamics

When you run the tool for Inverse KInematics, a coordinate file will load in the navigator under your model. Right-click on that and click associate motion data. Your files will open, then look for your grf file and open that. Once loaded, the grf will display green arrows. Look to see where they ar...

Re: Inverse Dynamics

Did you associate your GRF data to your IK results to ensure it was applied to the correct body part?

Also, I am not sure if you are aware of this. You should narrow* the time (begin and end) of the RRA analysis in the region where your subject touches the ground.
What if the model is standing on the force plates through the whole task and the task is longer than 2 seconds?

Re: RRA time duration

Thank you for your help. For more clarity, my model is based on a pick and place task where both of the subject's feet are standing on their respective force plate for the whole duration (~8.6 seconds) so there is no actual running or walking over the plate. As in this case, I believe the external f...

RRA time duration

For executing RRA, I have gathered that the time duration should be when the model is about to step onto the force plate until it steps off. My model stands on the force plates throughout the whole task. Would it be more beneficial to make the time duration smaller or is it fine as it is?
