Hi Michael,
Yes, it might be a driver problem. I'm using the latest proprietary NVIDIA driver which seems to be running fine for other applications. I'll look into switching to open-source nouveau driver and see if it helps. Thanks.

Priyanshu

Re: Visualizer Error
Hi Michael, Thanks for your suggestions. I checked the various locations you mentioned and just found the Simbody 3.1 version accessible through those paths. I also checked the various examples employing the visualizer in Simbody and found a similar behavior with some of the examples. For example, C...

Visualizer Error
Hi, I'm running the default CustomActuator example in the OpenSim APIExamples directory with the visualizer turned on (Ubuntu 10.04 + OpenSim 3.1 + Simbody 3.1)and I see this strange behavior. Sometimes the example runs without any error with the visualizer running fine, but most of the time it resu...

Re: Simbody Build Error in Ubuntu 12.04
Thanks so much Michael. That is really helpful. Yes, editing the cmake generated makefiles was a bit messy.

Re: Simbody Build Error in Ubuntu 12.04
Yes, figuring out where to add the flags took some time. We were wondering if the same could be achieve by adding the flag in the CMakeLists.txt. Yes, none of the tests failed for the 64 bit code generator for us as well.
Thanks so much for your help.

Re: Simbody Build Error in Ubuntu 12.04
Thanks Michael. We have the exact same compiler. May be it has to do with setting some flag while generating the make file. We edited the "link.txt" files in following directories to add -lm flag /mysimbody/build_d/SimTKmath/Integrators/src/CPodes/sundials/tests/CMakeFiles After making these chages ...

Inverse Dynamics of an Underactuated System
Hi, I'm working on simulating the inverse dynamics of a musculoskeletal model with some of the bodies having rotational joints and connected through multiple PointToPointSprings with the neighboring bodies. The angular position of these bodies should be determined by the solver as the spring forces ...
