Hello,
Would it be possible to determine which paper or algorithm does the OpenSim IK derieve from? For example Visual3d IK is derieved from Van Den Bogert and Su (2008) method.
Also does the generalised coordinates refer to the model coordinate system?
Thanks, and Regards
Vignesh

Re: Generating MarkerSet for publicly available .cd3 databases
Hello Ayman, Thanks for your response. Two additional questions sorry. Would I need to generate a new Scale marker file based on the experiemental markers on the database to allow virtual markers and experimental markers to match during the IK operation? Secondly when generating trc files usimg c3dE...

Generating MarkerSet for publicly available .cd3 databases
Hello, Sorry for the inconvenience but I am new to OpenSim and I am trying to use its scaling and inverse kinematic pipelines for my project. I would like to load marker based gait data from publicly available datasets and analyse the effects of subject specific scaling and IK. I do not have the mar...

Soft tissue Artefact analysis on OpenSim
I would like to know if the IK analysis done on OpenSim with the least squares approach is similar to the global optimisation proposed by Lu and Connor in 1999, which is used for soft tissue artefact analysis? Paper: Bone position estimation from skin marker co-ordinates using global optimisation wi...
