Hi,
Has this been fixed in OpenSim 4.4? How can I change the colour of markers?
Thanks,
Vignesh

Adding coordinates to a model and determining marker locations wrt ground
Hello, Hope you are doing well. I would like some advice on how to proceed with the following issue. I have joint angle data and marker data in their respective local cooridnate system. Unlike OpenSim, the marker location in the LCS seem to vary throughout the trial (unless my understanding is incor...

Change point name and value in Analyse XML setup file programmatically
Hello,
I would like to modify the analyse setup file (for point kinematics) from matlab programmatically. Especially, the point value, model name and marker name. But there are no inbuilt functions which are available in InversekinematicsTool. How to proceed?
Thanks,
Vignesh

Re: Setting marker weight in z direction to 0
Hi, I have a question regarding projection of markers and the bone GUI. I would like to project a skin-marker onto the bone surface and I have done this by defining a point using pointkinematics and determining its position in the global frame. But I have a question regarding the coordinate system o...

Re: Setting marker weight in z direction to 0
Hi,
I just wanted to confirm whether the operation is similar to Point kinematics tool? And if not, what is the difference (since you are calculating the new coordinates from computed joint angles)?
Thanks,
Vignesh

Re: Setting marker weight in z direction to 0
Hi Thomas, Thank you. Just to confirm: 1) I load an mot file and the model and at each time instant realise the model 2) Set the z axis to 0 and convert to ground Is that correct? May I ask if the output of this would be different from applying point kinematics? For example, if you know the location...

Setting marker weight in z direction to 0
Hello, I am trying to project a marker onto the bone longitudinal axis. While I can do that for the marker in segment coordinate system by setting z=0, I am not able to do it with the experimental marker. How would I be able to do that? Or alternatively, is it possible to set individual weights for ...

Re: Will changing the joint of a scaled model, affect the scaling
Thnak you. The reason I ask is that when scaling a model with free joints, the bones look dislocated despite very small scaling error. I am not sure how to determine if this is correct. Additionally, is there a function in OpenSim which detects dislocations or abnormal gait (not pathological)? For e...

Re: Will changing the joint of a scaled model, affect the scaling
Thank you. I have one more question:
Does changing the joint type of a scaled model invalidate the scaling of the model ?
Thanks

Re: Will changing the joint of a scaled model, affect the scaling
Hi, Any luck with the above question? I tried to change the knee joint type of a scaled walker model (gait 2392) from coupled to ball and got the dislocation of the knee joint centre (image attached). It is due to the coupling fuctions for the y-direction translation. How do I change it? Capture.JPG
