Thanks very much for the quick reply.
So it is the same for all muscles? Sorry if I am not expert: could you help me get the value in openSim ?

mvel in ForceVelocityCurve
I have read the explanation of the parameters in the ForceVelocityCurve at https://simtk.org/api_docs/opensim/api_ ... Curve.html
apart from Vmax.
How and where is it defined?

Re: Calculating muscle moments
Are the output analysis files correct (pennation angle, tendon length,...) in SO when muscle phydsiology is turned off?

Re: Calculating muscle moments
Thanks Thomas, that really helped and it worked in OpenSim 4.1. The problem I am now facing is that the results do not match, for example hip flexion moments for a given muscle are not the same as if I calculated it from that muscle force and moment arm and pennation angle. The strange thing is that...

Calculating muscle moments
Hello, I have found similar questions in the forum but not exactly the same with the corresponding solution, so I will ask! I am trying in openSim 4.1 to calculate the moments of the muscle (which forces I obtained from SO) for each joint DOF, so for example I would like to find all muscle moments t...

filter kinematics
Hi,
I see there are two options to filterkinematic data during Inverse dynamics setup process with the GUI: one in the main setup window and one in the external load one. What is the difference between the two options?

Re: Pennation angle and muscle length
Sorry, but it is not clear to me. What is the consequence of muscle are states? How is the penation angle calculated?

Re: Opensense: Custom IMUs
Hi,
could you please advice if I can consider using any IMU in Open-sense and if so, what are the best steps to have data read into openSim?

Pennation angle and muscle length
Hello, from the end paragraph of link https://simtk-confluence.stanford.edu/display/OpenSim/Millard+2012+Muscle+Models it is clear what happens when there is a rigid-tendon assumption in openSim since from IK geometry data MT length are determined and from there subtracting L(T)(tendon length): L(M)...
