CMC error in the Opensim2.1.0 b1 gait2392
<t>I tried the examplegait2392. <br/> The Scale, IK and RRA tools work well. But the CMC may have some problem. During the CMC, <br/> exception like below showed up. Does anyone know how to solve the problem?<br/> <br/> java.lang.RuntimeException: SimTK Exception thrown at AbstractIntegratorRep.cpp:...

RE: GRF in 1.9.1 and 2.0.2
<t>Hi Ayman, <br/> <br/> I tried difference GRF implmentations. For the same movement, the Static Optimization works well in 1.9.1 while in 2.0.2 the Static Optimization works if the forces are specified as body forces . The SO could fail if the GRFs are specified as point forces. Does that mean the...

GRF in 1.9.1 and 2.0.2
<t>Hi All<br/> <br/> I know the method for applying GRF to the feet has been improved in 2.0.2. It is more flexible. <br/> However, if I want to implement the way I applied the GRF in 1.9.1, what would be the parameters I should use in 2.0.2. Should I choose Point Force or Body Force, should I treat...

two leg version of ARNOLD et al. 2009 Model
Hi
Does anyone have a two leg version of the lower limb model developed by Arnold et al. 2009.
Is there an easy way to create a flipped geometry based on their one-leg model?
Thank you very much,

RE: Static Optimization Performance
Thanks Matt for the suggestions.
I will try. On the other hand, there is another way to improve the performance is to improve the muscle path to get better moment arm. By doing that, the result could be more favorable.

RE: CMC for other activities
<t>Thank Becca for the suggestions.<br/> <br/> I have changed the COM and lock the mtp and subtalar angles. Now the average residuals before adjusting torso COM and d-mass are significantly decreased, although the absolute magnitude are still large comparing to the Gait2354 example. <br/> I am wonde...

Static Optimization Performance
<t>Hi All<br/> <br/> I am currently using the Static Opt to estimate the muscle forces for stair climbing. For normal subjects, the estimated muscle forces seems reasonable. However, for injured subjects, the muscles forces are extremely small due to the large force in the appended static optimizati...

RE: CMC for other activities
<t>Thanks, I will check the GRF, <br/> in the IK process, it has the GRF. I have the GRF arrows shown in the animation. <br/> But in the following output, one strange thing is that the torso mass has been significantly changed. Do you know how the torse mass adjustment works?<br/> <br/> Loading exte...

RE: CMC for other activities
<r>HI Rebecaa, <br/> <br/> My model takes off during RRA as described by Daniel(<URL url="https://simtk.org/forum/message.php?msg_id=1889">https://simtk.org/forum/message.php?msg_id=1889</URL>). I am wondering if you had such kind of problems before. If so, how did you solve the problem?<br/> <br/> ...
