Re: Error Encountered while Using addbiomechanics for IK Generation

Hi Nick Thank you for your response. I checked the topology and looks fine. This time I tried running addbiomechanics with the same model but removed the joints that are welded (radioulnar and wrist) and i get the following error: ['/app/../engine/engine.py', '/tmp/tmp5c4peohz/', 'Pilot_test_1', 'ht...

Error Encountered while Using addbiomechanics for IK Generation

Hi, I recently used addbiomechanics to generate IK for my walking data using a custom model (modified Rajagopal model) and i encountered the following error. It appears that the model I used may not be compatible with the algorithm. Can you please provide guidance on how to resolve this issue? Thank...

Offset between experimental marker & grf data

Hi all, Why is there an offset between experimental grf and marker data when we preview them in OpenSim? I know that i can adjust the offset to align the grf with the markers but i would like to know why they do not overlay automatically in OpenSim and is there a way to change the display? Thanks, S...

generating scaled model in Matlab

Hi

Is there a way to generate a scaled model in Matlab directly instead of running an XML file in OpenSim GUI using the scale tool? I could create an XML (scale setup) file in Matlab with a piece of code but could not generate a scaled model with that XML file.

Thanks,
Sheeba

Re: Visualizer and OpenSim 4.4 issue

Hi Ayman

Problem solved. It was the issue with display adapters, which i had to install for the visualizer to work. Thank you.

Visualizer and OpenSim 4.4 issue

Hi, I downloaded OpenSim 4.4 and integrated it with Matlab. But the visualizer does not work when i say study.visualize(fullStride); following is the error i get Java exception occurred: java.lang.RuntimeException: SimTK Exception thrown at VisualizerProtocol.cpp:728: Error detected by Simbody metho...

Re: normalized tendon force not in the trajectory

Hi Ross Thank you very much for your suggestion. I have enabled modelProcessor.append(ModOpTendonComplianceDynamicsModeDGF('implicit')); and ran the tracking simulation and used the solution to run predictive simulation. Initially with a MetabolicCostWeight = 1.0, the solution did not converge and i...

normalized tendon force not in the trajectory

Hi, I was trying to generate a tracking solution without a guess file (by uncommenting the code to set the normalized tendon forces to reasonable values in the guess) in order to use that solution to run the predictive simulation. The tracking solution looks fine but the file does not have 'normaliz...
