Noise on RRA results with Arnold model
Hi, I was wondering if anyone has experienced problems with noise on RRA results. Although the residuals are all relatively low (<15N) at certain points in time there appears to be noise present in the residual forces. This noise was present when I used the Arnold et al. model, but was not present w...

RRA in opensim version 2.2.1
Dear all, I'm using the lowerlimb 2010 model and I'm trying to perform RRA in Opensim version 2.2.1 I've successfully completed IK and ID and the results of these look good. However when I perform RRA there are high peaks in the residual forces and moments (up to 500 N). When I look at the kinematic...

RE: Running Opensim parallel
<t>Hi Ayman,

Thank you for your reply.
It's mainly a question out of interest. I'm planning a study where we'll optimize an Opensim model together with a different model, and was wondering if this could be done faster by running opensim parallel, as we can run our other model paralle...

Running Opensim parallel
Hi,
Could anyone tell me if OpenSim can run parallel using threads (i.e. OpenMP or MPI), or if this will be possible in the near future?
Thanks,
Paulien

RE: Anatomical Reference Frames
<t>Hi Ayman,

Thank you, this is very useful information.

Could you tell us more about the anatomical reference frame of the ankle joint. The child frame appears to be the talus frame. It is however not clear how the parent frame is defined.
It would help us a lot if you co...
