Hi,
Just wondering how important it is to have the correct marker size specified in the GUI. I am using 14mm markers, and I believe the default value for OpenSim is 1.0. Is this in cm or just an arbitrary number? Does it refer to the radius or diameter?
Thanks!
Katie

Further questions about scaling
I read the papers from Wu et al. that formed the basis for the ISB standards on defining joint coordinate systems, but I'm not sure if this is what you are talking about. I still don't quite understand how I can accurately place the markers on the generic model, which must be very important if some ...

Re: Problems with v3.2
Hi Ayman, I installed the 32 bit version of OpenSim 3.2 and the same problem persisted. I realized there was a Java error (too small to see in the corner), which said: java.lang.NullPointerException at org.netbeans.api.visual.graph.GraphScene.setEdgeSource(GraphScene.java:201) at org.opensim.topolog...

Re: Problems with v3.2
Hi Ayman, Thanks for the suggestions but unfortunately I'm still not having much luck. When I tried to run the vc10redist_x64.exe file, I got an error about Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable. I uninstalled older versions of this and uninstalled OpenSim 3.2 again, but after restoring the installat...

Problems with v3.2
Hi, I am using OpenSim version 3.2, but since yesterday it has not been able to run any of the tools. For example, when I run Scale in the GUI, the scaled model does not appear, although the Messages window indicates that the tool is running. Using the same setup files in 3.0.1 works fine. I tried u...

Re: Cruciate Ligaments Computational Modeling Public Forum
Hello,
I just came across this forum. Will you be starting the forum by posting relevant topics or should users post questions as they encounter issues?
I calculate ACL forces using a finite element model but would be interested in learning more about ligament modeling in OpenSim.
Cheers,
Katie
