Re: Center of Mass Interpretation

Also, does anyone know where to find the frame/how they calculated the center of mass. I cannot find that in the documentation for OPENSim.

Thanks.

Center of Mass Interpretation

Hi, I am working on looking at center of mass data for prosthetics patients. We are not sure how to interpret the data, but one of my issues with the data. I am not sure how it works in the back end. But the data should make sense across, the position graph's slope seems to not line up with the velo...

Re: High Fidelity Solver

if you look in "walk2" you can see part of my issue.

I forgot to put my question in, but if there is way to run it with a slower but maybe more robust solver, if you could point in me in the right direction, that would be helpful.

High Fidelity Solver

Hi, I am having trouble with our patients data. they ended up very choppy and they constantly glitch and I am pretty sure the set up is all optimal. This is our session: 52def0cd-e3e7-4a60-90d0-1981d9159e89 I remember hearing about a "High fidelity machine learning" solver or something that could he...

Re: OpenCap Validation Session

Hi, Basically, I have attached two screenshots each cooresponds to a .trc file: 1 from the Validation Files and 1 from the OPENCap output files. My issue is the code throws an error parsing through the .trc for the Validation when put into the OPENCap python code. For example, when I run it through ...

Re: OpenCap Validation Session

Hi, I have the right file structure but I am running into an issue that I am not sure I can resolve. The markers that seem to be in the trial .trc files seem to not correspond. The OpenCAP data has 63 markers, but the validation data has 51 markers and it is hard to convert the markers since I am pr...

OpenCap Validation Session

Hi, I am trying to access the OpenCap validation data (published when OpenCap was released). I know you can download it but it doesn't come in the same form of the OpenCap-Download Files. I was wondering if there is a way to get it in the same form with the same information as the data files downloa...

Multiple Gait Trials Data Averaging

Hi, I am recording multiple trials of a patient walking. And I want to be able to graph and interpret the results of all the gait cycles between the trials (joint angles). I know the get_coordinates_normalized_time function already averages all the gait cycles from one trial. I think I can create so...

Proper Usage Verification

Hi, I am a new user of OpenCAP (and very new to biomechanics) I am trying to get a setup for getting joint angles of patients walking to look at gait deviations. I am eventually trying to compare the joint angles of patients with below knee prosthetics to compare their functionality. I am starting b...
