Hello,
Does anybody have the geometry for the hyoid bone? I don’t think it is the geometry folder that came with the installation.

Re: Scaling Problem & Marker name problem?
Hi, In my opinion, the names of the markers must be unambiguous and consistent through all the files. Otherwise, how would you tell the software which trajectory or movement is for which marker, coordinates, etc.? “The names of the column labels (in the mot file) should match the names used in the m...

Motion files
Hello,
Are there any examples of the motion files for this model?

Re: Marker's visualisation, .trc vs. .mot
Thank you for the answer,
But one more question I have to ask – so how do I computed/get the coordinates in the .mot file when I have the .trc file?

Re: Scaling Problem
Hi Caterina,
I am looking forward to some answer as well, since it seems I am stuck in the same point as you
(but I have not all the necessary scaling stuff yet
).
Cheers

Re: the coordinate value of marker ?
Hi, I am new to OpenSim, but I have just started placing markers to my model. Maybe the following posts in the forum can help you. Marker's visualisation, .trc vs. .mot
Hi everybody, I have just started with the OpenSim, and I would like to make some parts of the modeling/simulation process clear. So far, I went through the OpenSim manual, the SIMM manual and the forum, but with something I am still confused. 1) What is the difference between .trc and .mot files? A...

Mandible movements
Hi, I went through the forums as well as the project’s pages carefully, but I haven’t found much about modeling the motion of the mandible. It seems that the neck kinematics is the closest I can find. Is this project only about the neck and head kinematics/dynamics or is there something concerning t...

Re: Mandible movement (biting, chewing, clenching, grinding)
Hi Ayman, Thank you for your reply. You are right that the model using “neck mechanics” seems suitable for me. I have already started – I have defined the new joint between skull and jaw with appropriate ranges of motion and I am adding some more muscles. It would be great if later can somebody have...

Mandible movement (biting, chewing, clenching, grinding)
Hi, I tried to go through the forum as well as the project’s pages carefully, but I haven’t found much about modeling the motion of the mandible. Am I right, or I missed something somewhere? If there is no functional model of the skull-jaw connection, I need to connect these two bodies (create appro...
