svFSIplus (C++ solver) produces different stress result from svFSI (Fortran solver)
Hi SV developers, Greetings! We have been trying to run the FSI simulation using svFSIplus and svFSI. In our simulation files, we found that while both solvers are able to give us stabilized results, the Von Mises stress and the Cauchy stress are 10 times lower for the results returned by svFSIplus....

svFSIplus failed w/ error message "follower pressure load must be used for 0D coupling with struct/ustruct"
Hi SV developers, Good morning! I'm trying to run a FSI case on svFSIplus, following the example here (https://github.com/SimVascular/svFSI-Tests/tree/master/07-fsi/ale/04-pipe_prestress/02-deform-ale/02.2-fsi-ALE). And my case is here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1_s46qSnbf83a_pM0YbHvXRs...

ROM running issues
Hi, I'm trying to run ROM simulations on the model below. When trying to run the simulation in 1D, it gives me the error message saying that "branch2 area is negative". And when I tried running 0D simulation, it says "x should be in strictly increasing sequence". Any ideas? Thanks for taking a look!...

Fiber orientation python code question
Hi all, I have some questions about the python code that calculates and writes fiber orientation, link here: https://github.com/SimVascular/svFSI-Tests/blob/master/06-ustruct/03-LV-Guccione-active/mesh/P1/calcfiber.py In the code, there are 4 parameters (rsi = 7.0 rli = 17.0 rso = 10.0 rlo = 20.0) r...

1D ROM negative branch area
Hi all, I am trying to run a 1D simulation on this demo model (link here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1YY1mBlAVxssSegV9pdGDr2PMO9K9l8J3?usp=sharing) on a windows computer, version 2023.3.27. I'm pretty sure that the input values are identical with what's provided, but I got an error messa...

Re: 0D ROM running issue
Hi Dave,
So nice that they are resolved! On my end, is there anything I need to update on SimVascular? Currently the error message is still showing up when I attempt to run the simulation, but I assume that there are some updates with the python solver.
Many thanks!
Viola

Re: 0D ROM running issue
Hi Dave,
Thanks for opening that issue! If you have a chance, could you help running the same SV file on windows and Ubuntu? My version is 2023.03.27, and I keep receiving the error message called "Unable to load the Python 'svZeroDSolver.svzerodsolver' module". I appreciate your help!
Best,
Viola

0D ROM cannot load python 'svzeroDSolver' module
Hi all, I am running SimVascular on Ubuntu (version 2023.3.27). When I try to run ROM 0D simulation, it seems to be not able to locate the python file, giving me an error message called "unable to load the python svZeroDSolver.svzerodsolver" module. Does anyone have some insights into that? Thank yo...

Re: 0D ROM running issue
Hi Dave, I checked the inflow file, which is attached to the SV demo project, and it writes: 0.0 -100 1.0 -100 In addition, I have compiled some of the output data files after I click "create files for simulation": https://docs.google.com/document/d/16QWeFNZ9Kx07_qMhAuSOe6K7bPSNY31-Grmz0T--6Io/edit?...
