Re: changing the mesh intervals form 25 to 50 changes the prediction outpur of cycling, cannto understand why?
Hi Nick, Thank you for the explanation, I understood and actually what you said about simplifying and then using the result for initial guess and solving it again actually helped me to converge more quickly. so i guess it sort of solved what i was looking by using the first result as initial guess f...

Re: changing the mesh intervals form 25 to 50 changes the prediction outpur of cycling, cannto understand why?
Thank you Nick, I will try doing this and use the output of one simulation for the next simulation. and see if it helps for now what i am trying to do is to predict cycling motion if i use 25 mesh points to simulate 1 second of motion the output is fine and smooth but if i try to use 50 mesh interva...

Re: changing the mesh intervals form 25 to 50 changes the prediction outpur of cycling, cannto understand why?
Hi Nick, Thanks for the reply, I am trying to predict cycling motion. in my model i have used a crank fixed with the feet that allow the motion to operate in cyclic way. now the problem is that if i use 50 mesh intervals for the motion prediction, the motion is not at all smooth and after half cycle...

changing the mesh intervals form 25 to 50 changes the prediction outpur of cycling, cannto understand why?
Hello Everyone, I am facing a problem in prediction simulation of cycling gait in moco. the problem is that if i use 25 mesh intervals then the predicted simulation works fine and give the desired results but if i increase the mesh intervals to 50 then the output result is not correct i.e. the predi...

Re: Problem implementing the code/data available on Moco project "Muscle-Driven Simulations and Experimental Data of Cyc
Thank you for the help everyone. I solved that, apparently i was actually configuring Moco separately after configuring Opensim latest version. Because of that it was going to previous version of Moco which was not able to run the code. Now i just configured Opensim latest version (without configuri...

Re: Problem implementing the code/data available on Moco project "Muscle-Driven Simulations and Experimental Data of Cyc
Hi Ross,
Thank you for the rely, in that case then how can i configure moco with matlab.
because in the latest release there is a file which we can run to configure opensim, but we do nothave any file to configure moco.
regards

Re: Problem implementing the code/data available on Moco project "Muscle-Driven Simulations and Experimental Data of Cyc
Hi Nick, I downloaded the Moco from the following link, I thought its the latest release https://simtk.org/projects/opensim-moco Just for clarification, I am a very new user of Moco, so i am just learning everything about it. so at times my question can sound very basic (sorry for that). The example...

Re: Problem implementing the code/data available on Moco project "Muscle-Driven Simulations and Experimental Data of Cyc
Hi Nick, I tried installing the new opensim and moco 0.4.0 along with matlab 2021b. but still the problem is same when i run the code. Unrecognized function or variable 'processAndConvertToRadians'. Error in solveMocoInverseCycling_J1 (line 119) kinematicsNeeded = tableProcessor.processAndConvertToR...

Hi Nick,
Thank you for the reply, i was trying it in opensim 4.4, but yeah i will try it in this new version of open sim and check if it resolves the matter.
thanks for the help.
