Asymmetrical Reflex Control

Hi Dr. Geijtenbeek, I hope you are having a wonderful day. I was curious if there is a way to adjust the "target" and "source" bodies within the Geyer and Herr reflex controller to only act on one side for some of the muscles. I would like to keep symmetry for all of the muscles except for the plant...

Re: Ground Contact at Initial State

Hi Dr. Geijtenbeek,

Thank you for this suggestion. Just to clarify, is this command setting the initial body weight of the model or an additional load that is added on top of the model's weight?

Thank you so much,

Eric

Ground Contact at Initial State

Hi Dr. Geijtenbeek, I hope you are having a great day and as always, thank you for helping everyone including myself with all of these SCONE inquiries. I have an issue with the ground contacts of the model I am running and particularly the deformation between the contact sphere and surface form time...

Re: Hybrid Controller

Hi Dr. Geijtenbeek, Thank you so much for your response. I was wondering if a weighted combination of the two controllers is possible to describe the activation of certain muscles? This would help me merge these controllers together a little bit more seamlessly than just superimposing them together....

Hybrid Controller

Hi Dr. Geijtenbeek, I hope you having a wonderful day! I was wondering if a hybrid controller, one that superimposes a feed forward controller with a feedback controller, can be developed within SCONE. I noticed that just using the feedback reflex controller from the "Examples" does not produce simi...

Re: Direction of Ground Reaction Force

Dr. Geijtenbeek,

Thank you so much for the explanation. Could you explain how to do what you suggested? I'm not too familiar with how to change the velocity of the contact sphere within SCONE.

Thank you,

Eric

Direction of Ground Reaction Force

Hi Dr. Geijtenbeek, I hope you are having a wonderful day. I attached a picture of the H0914 model that I am working on and I realized that the direction of my arrows at the beginning of the gait cycle seem to be in the opposite direction. I was wondering if you happen to know how to redirect these ...

Error Calculation within Mimic Measure

Hi Dr. Geijtenbeek, I was wondering what type of error calculation is used within the mimic measure? I didn't seem to find it anywhere on the documentation and forum? I originally thought it was using RMSE to calculate the error between the experimental data and the simulations, but I wasn't sure. T...

Re: Cubic Spline Setup

Dr. Geijtenbeek, Thank you for the insight. When I implement those tips, my model still doesn't seem to output the curve that I would like. The project that I am working on involves implementing a spline curve to mimic the torque at the ankle. I have removed the gastroc, soleus, and the tib ant off ...

Re: Cubic Spline Setup

Dr. Geijtenbeek, Thank you for your response. I managed to fix that issue. Now, I have another issue pertaining to the cubic spline function. I was wondering if there is any way to constrain the y values of each control point within a their own certain ranges? For example, if control point Y0 needs ...
