Re: Advice on solving convection-diffusion equation
Great! Thanks a lot for your answer. I was not aware of that solver, so thanks for pointing that out! I will switch to svFSIPlus then. Also, while I was working on a VTK script to convert .vtu and .vtp to OpenFOAM readable meshes and velocity fields, I thought of something that may be of interest. I...

Advice on solving convection-diffusion equation
Hi all, I need to solve the transport of a scalar in blood flow and determine its concentration in different regions over time. I have a few ideas on how to approach this problem, which I've outlined below, but I would appreciate some external input from the code maintainers on what might be the bes...

Re: svSolver vs. OpenFOAM
Anybody can post some pros and cons between svSolver and OpenFOAM? Hi, I have some experience with OpenFOAM and I switched from OpenFOAM to SvSolver because of the BC mainly. It will take me some time to reproduce the implementation of the different BC to model the outlets as a RCR. Also meshing us...

Re: Simulation with svSolver finishing before reaching specified number of timesteps
Hey! Got into a similar problem today using 48 cores. I was trying to asses how well was scaling the computing time with the number of cores and while trying 48 after ~300 iterations the simulation stopped while in total there were 6000 iterations. It just happened that I clean the simulation direct...

Installing in Ubuntu 22.04 potential errors and solutions.
Hi all, As recommended per Dave Parker, I am posting this suggestion originally posted on the project GitHub here. The latest release is intended to support Ubuntu up to 20.04, and some problems may arise while trying to execute in Ubuntu 22.04. I will reproduce the errors after installation but bef...
